I had a pretty stressful work week. My computer crashed and I had all of my work documents and emails on it. I recovered the hard drive, thank goodness, but I had to take the entire computer apart first. Yes, I YouTubed it, this was the only way! Somehow I managed. I am hoping my new computer arrives soon because my current office/computer set up is a bit crazy and unreliable.
Big Dave left for Annual Training this weekend. He always seems to be gone over holidays! He will be gone for Father’s Day and both the boy’s birthdays. Luckily he will be back in time for their birthday party – we are going on a pirate ship that goes out into the ocean! But that is not for another two weeks! Every time BD goes away for the Army, my whole world gets crazy. LD and I get sick, I have the most insane work week, millions of bills are due, my computer and/or car stops working, an [insert terrifying living creature here] is found in the house, etc! I know, I know, he is sleeping in barracks tonight, going through PT tests and conducting training all day, so I shouldn’t be complaining, should I?
Since it was just my little one and I this weekend, we stayed busy doing fun things together. Shopping, reading (for me), new Tracing Workbook practice (for him), gardening, working out, and cuddling while watching Big Bang/Modern Family. I even got to lay out in the yard for a while reading during one of LD’s long naps.
Oh, and in case you missed it, here’s what happened on the blog last week:
And finally, what you have all been waiting for…. (yeah, right)… my favorite things this week!

I watched That Awkward Moment the other day. It might be cliche and predictable, but I really did enjoy it. I really liked the story, but Zac Efron being in it didn’t hurt one bit. I would actually watch it again if I could convince BD to watch it…

I loved Tiffany D’s post about styling your bookcase. I don’t know what I love more, Tiffany’s fashion sense or her interior decorating style. I guess I just love her style in general. So classic, put together and timeless. Today I was looking at my bookcase that was once decorated nicely, but is now cluttered with books and disorganized, then I found her post. I needed this!

The Londoner’s ChocoBerry Monster Cookie recipe. Dear God, just go to the post and you will see why I am dying over them.

I have been ogling over the BaubleBar website all week even more than usual! A bunch of pieces have been on sale too, but I have not given in yet. Mostly because I couldn’t narrow it down enough to justify the purchase despite the great discounts! Here are some of my favorites.

That’s all for today! Have a great Sunday night relaxing (or doing dishes if you’re like me and you put that off all weekend). I’ll be back tomorrow!
