If your Thanksgiving is anything like mine, it is crowded with lots of loud (maybe slightly intoxicated) family members bustling around all trying to help out in the kitchen as it gets hotter and hotter. Now, I’m not saying I would pull a Joey and break out the Thanksgiving pants.
But, my outfits are pretty relaxed and comfortable. After all, it is just a meal with my closest family and friends.
So, here is my Thanksgiving outfit. Leggings are fine, but Old Navy’s Rockstar Jeans look a bit nicer and they are pretty forgiving, if you know what I mean 😉
I also love this Chambray shirt from Old Navy. An oversized sweater is too hot for me on Thanksgiving, but this shirt is still forgiving and loose, yet stylish at the same time.
Pair it with your favorite fall boots and a statement necklace to spice it up and you’re good to go.
Now for my favorite part, makeup. I have three makeup recommendations for Thanksgiving.
1. A matte finish foundation. You’ll achieve that “dewy” look naturally via the hot oven.
2. Matte blush in a berry or wine shade. Once again, no shimmer but the berry shades make your face feel like fall. If faces could feel like a season….
3. Low maintenance lips. Deep wine shades may be trendy for fall, but deep wine smeared all over your face while eating turkey? Not cute. I went with a mauve-y neutral.
Have a great Thanksgiving! I have been counting calories on my Fitness Pal app, but cannot wait to forget that and go crazy on Thanksgiving food. Hope you have a good one!
