A Tuesday Quickie | Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector

I decided to start doing “quickies” aka simplified reviews without all of the rambling. This product is a perfect candidate because I’ve already talked about it a few times but I wanted to give you all my overall opinion because this product is worthy of it’s very own post.

Product: Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector

Price Point: Fairly high at $24

The Claims: “A softly textured lip gel with a deliciously sweet scent and 3D shimmer. Experience the lusciously smooth, shiny and fuller lips you’ve always dreamed of. Sheer, but shaded enough to wear alone or to complement your favorite lip shade.”

What I Think: This has been a blogger cult favorite for a while now, so you have to wonder, “is it really worth the hype?” It is. For sure… but I mean maintain realistic expectations. It’s not a miracle in a tube, but it is a really amazing lip gloss. I agree with all of the claims above except for the “fuller lips”.

The standout to me is the texture. I have made a promise to myself to only buy glosses I will actually wear since so many go untouched. This perfectly named “lip gel” just feel so nice and moisturizing on the lips, you will never complain about stickiness or discomfort.

The only con I can think of is in regards to this shade in particular. I bought the shade 04 and it is a nice milky pink. Sometimes it is a little bit too light and “milky” for my liking.

Would I Repurchase: Not only am I 100% repurchasing this, but I plan on collecting them all based on the wonderful texture alone.

What do you think, do you like these “quickie” reviews?
