Currently Coveting | Skincare

My skincare wishlist has been growing exponentially recently, so I thought it was about time I share the products that I’m coveting at the moment. With going to the gym so much, my skin has been suffering the sweaty consequences. I have breakouts, but if I use a lot of strong products to combat the breakouts, my skin gets so dry and I have to moisturize like crazy too! It’s a never ending cycle. Plus, as I’m 25 and it’s all down hill from here, I have been thinking about moisturizing/preventative products a lot lately.

currently coveting skincare

1. Sephora Triple Action Cleansing Water | $12 from Sephora

I use baby wipes to remove most of my makeup (the only wipe that my skin does not react badly to) but need to follow it up with something more. I have heard this cleansing water is great, plus It’s readily available in the U.S unlike many other micellaire waters.

2. The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask | $30 from The Body Shop

I have been trying to find the perfect moisturizer for me as my skin gets drier and drier with age and moisture becomes more of a priority. Plus, the bouncy texture is so intriguing and sleeping masks have really been catching my interest lately!

3. Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Vitamin C Collagen Booster | $72 from Sephora

I am super into Vitamin C (as if anyone is anti-vitamin c…). This serum is supposed to be anti-aging and brightening. I have started to notice that acne scars and marks have been lingering on my skin for far too long and I’m looking for something to change that. So expensive though! I want a sample first.

4. Glam Glow Supermud Clearing Mask | $69 from Sephora

People with oily skin who are prone to breakouts rave about this mask. I would honestly probably get more use out of the two masks below, but you always need a good clearing mud that attacks those pores and really cleans out your skin.

5. Glam Glow Thirstymud Hydrating Mask | $69 from Sephora

Once again, I am dying to try these Glam Glow masks. This one really interests me because, as I’ve said, I’m really focused on moisturization and keeping my skin super hydrated. I have failed to do this up until now and know it is the number one thing you can do to prevent wrinkles! Also, I’ve only ever used clearing masks in the past that leave your skin feeling like it needs to drink a gallon of water, so I think I need this in my life… Yes, I am using the word “need” very loosely.

6. Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask | $58 from Sephora

My skin definitely needs a good exfoliator at least once a week. I was previously using one daily and it did help with weird bumps I was getting on my forehead! This mask is supposed to be an awesome exfoliator. Plus, I have been dying to try Alpha Hydroxy Acid to see how my skin likes it! Pluspumpkin. That is all.

7. Origins Super Spot Remover | $15.50 from Sephora

With all of this emphasis on moisturizing, I feel like I do need something to combat those breakouts that inevitably come as a result of constantly going to the gym and sweating my butt off, not to mention when it’s that time of the month. Thank you, hormones! This stuff has great reviews too.

Give me your skincare recommendations, please!!
