A Wednesday Quickie | Maybelline Master Hi-Light Blush & Bronzers

Well, hello there! Third quickie in a row reviewing a Maybelline product. Guess I like them.

But first, since I was photographing these out on my porch, let’s all take a moment to applaud my gardening skills. I actually have a few more flowers on my porch too, but yay for herbs!

Moving on…

Product: Maybelline Master Hi-Light, Hi-Lighting Blush/Bronzers

Price Point: $6-8 from Drugstore.com

The Claims: “Each light-boosting blush and bronzer palette has an expert balance of 4 shades + shimmer for a natural glow. Skin goes soft-lit with zero glitz.”

What I Think: If you love cheek products that can serve as a blush, bronzer and highlighter all in one, then you will be obsessed with this too.

If you don’t like shimmery blushes or need a matte contour shade, this isn’t for you. I’m also not sure how they would work on darker skin tones. That being said, I love how they apply, the sheen they give (when I’m going for that look), and the simplicity of an all in one product.

I have Light Bronze – my favorite of the two – a very natural, rosey pink with some bronze. I loved it so much, I went and bought Mauve. This one is a little harder to wear and darker, but still very pretty and easy to blend out!

Would I Repurchase: I doubt I will run out for a long time and I rarely repurchase blushes because I have so many and always want to try more, but at this price I probably would! I will definitely be buying more shades. Clearly I loved the first one enough to buy a second!
