I have a feeling I should have titled this, “pictures of my feet”. Because my shoes make an appearance in nearly every one of these photos (good thing I wore my awesome coral Nike Free Trainers!). That being said, I decided against titling it that for fear that I might pop up on some weird google searches and attract a different kind of unwanted audience 😛
Last week was rough. Computer issues, an overly crazy Saturday night and my husband heading back off for his training left me feeling a bit sad and unmotivated on Sunday to say the least.
I’m not here to complain about it, nobody wants to hear that. No, I was determined to get this week off to a better start and for me, that always means having a productive and active day.
Plus, what better way to re-motivate than to document my every move for the blog?
At least, I can’t think of any….
So, on with the photos!
Here is my no-makeup, first thing in the morning selfie– oh wait. I forgot. My front camera shattered on my phone during the aforementioned “overly crazy Saturday night” (don’t ask haha!). Okay, no more selfies- the rest will just have to be feet pics 🙂
10:30AM and I still haven’t eaten because I have been working. I am about to run a bunch of errands so I know I won’t be able to cook for a while. Nothing in the house to eat, so I grab the leftover Chinese- shovel a few bites into my mouth (cold, might I add) and throw it away. This might seem wasteful, but nothing like greasy Chinese to stop me from starting this week out on the right foot.
Next, errands. Bank… library… fingers crossed my day gets more exciting or this blog is going to be DULL!
Managed to get a blog post published while at the library and a bit of “real” work done too.
Picked up a few food items that I needed today. I’ll do a full shopping later tonight! But first, I’m making meatloaf.
I’m bad at making myself eat breakfast and love hard boiled eggs, so breakfast problem solved. I boiled almost an entire carton of eggs and made rice to have on hand for the week (a must do for quick dinners and/or meal prep).
Work, work work… I’m busy, but hey, at least I’m in my leggings and sweatshirt cuddled up in my favorite blanket.
Time to cook dinner!
And there’s my firefighter. Back from preschool. He got his first ever school pictures back and it had me all emotional 🙂
For dinner, we had meatloaf (made a big one so we would have leftovers!), rice, and canned beets because I still haven’t gotten to the grocery store for my full shopping!
Gym time! It’s very unlike me not to lift, but today I only did cardio because I was also commenting on blogs for the Runaway Bridal Planner’s Blog Hop I am doing this week! Please tell me I’m not the only one who did this 🙂
Finally, we’re at the grocery store. Let’s see…what did I get… the ingredients for my mom’s famous Kale Kielbasa soup (FYI the recipe will be up next week)…salmon (for a variation on Eat Run Style’s Maple Salmon I saw during yesterday’s Blog Hop!), waffles and peanut butter for the kiddo, some pears, a MANGO– yum, and finally some pre-chopped stir fry veggies for when I’m feeling lazy this week!
And finally, I am ending the night with my usual– Natural Vitality’s Magnesium drink (puts me right to sleep!) and obnoxious reindeer socks.
Oh, and some reading and cuddles too, of course.
