Recurring Favs & Hosting Brunch | Weekly Favs & Finds

Happy Friday, guys! I just finished up my Christmas shopping (FINALLY!) and am feeling good ūüôā

So, what better than to share my current favs and finds with you! A lot of my current favorites are actually recurring favorites… oldies, but goodies… so you might have seen them before! I still wanted to share though because if they keep popping up in my every day makeup, they¬†must be great, right?!

First up, I know I already reviewed this, but I want to emphasize just how much I love this Simple Micellar Water. I have been using it to remove makeup, but also use it to “cleanse” whenever I’m a. feeling lazy or b. need an extra cleanse throughout the day for some reason! I know it’s a “lazy-girl” product but, hey,¬†if it makes me more likely to keep my skin clean, I’m all for it.

ELF’s Lip Exfoliator. I had¬†been wanting to try this for a while. The scent and taste are a little plastic-like, but I can ignore that for the result. I find it to be a great exfoliator and love using it right before I apply a lip product or go out- I feel like my lips look more naturally plump and pink! Added bonus for me!favs elf

Oh and this has definitely been well loved. It’s decided, the¬†Anastasia Contour Kit¬†has to be my next review. I need to show you how exactly I use it. The top right highlight (WHY aren’t more people raving about this as a cheek highlight) and bottom middle contour shade are the ones I use most. I also adore using¬†this palette on my eyes which makes it even more worth the money!

I know I raved about these in my First Impressions, but I still can’t get over the Colour Pop Blushes. I have used the heck out of the shade Cruel Intentions for a natural looking “I’ve been out in the cold” flush, but I honestly think the texture and finish of theses blushes are what make them amazing¬†more so than that color in particular. I believe this shade is limited edition, but their blushes in general are¬†worth a try.¬†What other shades should I try?

Alright, this one is actually a newbie for me. I just got the swatches and review up on the blog the other day and am already in love with the Too Faced Melted Fig Liquid Lipstick. It is a wearable, yet deep berry shade that I have nothing like in my collection. I wore it out on our recent date night and fell in love.

And finally, last but not least, Soap & Glory. I recently tried (and reviewed, of course) their holiday gift set and in general, I am loving all of the products for their smell alone. The scrub, though, surprised me. I didn’t rave about it in my review, but have come to appreciate it more now that I see a difference in my keratosis pilaris (aka chicken skin) on the back of my arms!

As for some random finds this week… Well, they are all about food.¬†Who would have guessed?

Me, I could have totally guessed that.

First, I am obsessed with these¬†DIY Agate Cookies by Alana Jones – I can’t get over how beautiful they¬†are, they don’t look real. I can’t¬†quite think of a special occasion¬†to make these for, yet, but I am going to at some point!

Apparently I need to host¬†a brunch or something, because I also really want to create these Veggie Stuffed Baked Egg Boats for guests. Thanks Cotter Crunch for making me hungry ūüôā

That’s all for now… I guess I have rambled enough for one Friday afternoon, haven’t I?

What random finds or trusty favorites are you loving this week?
